Tuesday the last day of June. The Management would like to reach out to see what all you MOPAR lovers and fans would like to do. The MOPARS on the Mountain may have a very poor showing and thinking of cancelling and planning for 2021. We had a whole weekend of racing planned with a cruise in on Saturday and the Racers Reunion on Sunday the 12th. Carlisle has cut back the Chrysler show to just a 2 day event Friday the 10 and Saturday the 11th. Any thoughts we would rather have no show than a bad show. Mountain Mike PS We are not cancelling the Racers Reunion on the 12th and in fact is going to be a GREAT SHOW all we need is good racing weather. ...

Quick SBRA Race recap got first round completed and than the skies rained down on the Mountain. We had a lot of adversities Saturday & Sunday Bridge was out pit spots were at a premium, we were shy some good help, people stepped up, Ken and Kathy Beaverson stopped by and gave the Mod class a $50 Bonus for the Winner that we did not have, we hopefully award to the next winner, Dylan Griffey showed up to reconnoiter the next paving job to add pit spots, lots of new and old faces showed up to race, our sweeper belt snapped wonder how old that was definitely got our monies worth out of it, and than the Train decided to make a delivery to the Glass plant and held everyone up for 45 minutes. Hope you all got home safe and sound. This has been a rough 2020 starting with Covid19 but we are keeping up with the Real Peice of Americana making Drag Racing Great again at South Mountain. Have a safe, productive and Blessed week see you all again soon this coming Sunday Sunday Sunday Were we have Church Bells and Race Engines every Sunday!!! God Bless you all!!! Father’s Day Recap. Saw lots of Fathers Sporting New Ball Caps, Poppin Blue T Shirts and lots of family spending the day with Dad. We had our biggest attendance day in 5 years. The Mountain had lots of first time visitors who were traveling home and heard about the 4th Annual Ron Wallace Race and made our Tribute day a great success. Many doubled up running in points and the Ron Wallace Race. We had what could have gotten real ugly when Nick Taylor's engine grenaded in the semi Final of Bracket 1. It was so bad that the diaper could not handle the amount of oil. Oil got on his brakes over the finish line his parachute malfunctioned it did not deploy. Nick kept his trusty Maverick under control although an under wear change was needed. Oil down was so severe that we decided to call it a day. I want to Thank the Good Lord for giving us a wonderful day and a special Thank you to RFC Chaplain Brian Kuhn Paul Cole for the praise music and a Special Thanks to Pastor Bill Smith and Toni for our Fathers Day Blessing and Toni giving everyone the chills singing our National Anthem. I want to Thank everyone who came to the Mountain Father’s day and for the cooperation during these troubled times and KEEP CARRYING ON. God Bless you all have a productive, safe and victorious week. Next week starts the first day of SBRA Points. Next Saturday NHRA Chassis Certification day June 27th. I want to also give gratitude to the South Mountain dedicated employees that put their heart and souls into everything they do to make you our Drag Racing Customers sensory experience the Finest it can be 1/8 mile at a time.
