Temporary Closure of Suzuka Circuit

In response to the social situation in which the Japanese government declared a state of emergency due to the spread of the novel coronavirus, ALL facilities in Suzuka Circuit will be temporarily closed from Friday, April 10 to Monday, May 10.The definite re-opening date will be announced later.

【Re-opening of Suzuka Circuit "Motopia" and Prevention of Infectious Diseases including New Coronavirus and Measures to Prevent the Spread】

In response to the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, Suzuka Circuit has temporarily closed the Amusement Park “Motopia” including the Circuit Challenger for the period from Sunday, March 1 to Sunday, March 29, but after taking measures to prevent the spread of infection, we will resume business except for some facilities on Monday, March 30.

■Closed attractions / facilities
・Racing Theater
・Bat’s Power Crystal Hunt
・Puto’s Vehicle Lab
・Natural buffet - SORA - TABEYO will be open in the morning and evening limited to the guest of Suzuka Circuit Hotel and Suzuka Circuit Family Camp

■Events to be postponed

 *Everyone debuts! GP Field Stamp Rally will be conducted with some changes.
・Character Greetings

In addition, to prevent infection and spread including the new coronavirus, we would like to ask the visitors to cooperate with the following.

① If you do not feel well (those who have a fever of 37.5 degrees or higher or have repeated coughs), please do not force yourself and refrain from visiting. At the entrance gate, all customers will be checked for body temperature. Admission will be refused if the fever exceeds 37.5 degrees.

② Alcohol disinfectant is available at each facility. Please use it for sanitization of hands and fingers and we kindly ask for frequent hand washing and gargling.

③ When coughing or sneezing, please keep the "cough etiquette" in mind to cover your mouth and nose using a mask, tissue, handkerchief, sleeves, etc.

④ If you feel sick or get sick, please let the staff near you know about it.

⑤ Minimize the number of people lining up indoors and guide them outside.

⑥ Admission to each facility may be restricted to ease congestion.

⑦ Business may be temporarily suspended due to the ventilation of air inside the facility.

⑧ The staff may wear a mask.

In addition, regarding the holding of events, they may be canceled or the content of events may be partly changed.

In response to the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, Suzuka Circuit decided to temporarily close the Amusement Park “Motopia” including the Circuit Challenger until Sunday, March 29, giving top priority to the safety and health of our customers and stakeholders.

Further information of exact date of the re-opening will be announced later.

In addition, the International Racing Course, Suzuka Circuit Traffic Education Center and Suzuka Circuit Hotel will operate with some changes.
